At Butler Lexus of South Atlanta, our people are at the heart of every exceptional guest experience. This month, we are proud to celebrate Miguel Perez, a Master Certified Sales & Leasing Consultant whose passion, hard work, and dedication to growth push everyone around him to do better.
Miguel has been part of the Butler Lexus of South Atlanta family for five years and counting. In that time, he has become known not only for his product knowledge and commitment to serving guests, but also for the positive energy and genuine appreciation he brings to the team each day.
“My favorite thing about being part of the BLSA family is the people,” Miguel shared. “I genuinely enjoy coming to work and being surrounded by such a great team of coworkers and managers. I’m grateful to have people around me that I can learn from, grow with, and know will always have my back. It really makes BLSA feel like more than just a workplace. It feels like a family.”
Miguel’s journey to Atlanta began thousands of miles away. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he grew up in Punta Cana before moving to the United States in 2018 to begin a new chapter. Since then, he has built a career in the automotive industry with Buick GMC, Mazda, Toyota, and Lexus.
Today, Miguel is proud of the experience he has gained during his five years with Lexus and the opportunity to continue growing alongside his team at Butler Lexus of South Atlanta.
Always Learning
Miguel’s commitment to learning is one of the qualities that makes him such a valued member of the BLSA team. If he could step into any role at the dealership for a day, he would choose Director of Operations, David Gibson.
“I’d love the opportunity to see firsthand what it takes to run a dealership from an operational and leadership perspective,” Miguel said. “I think it would give me a better understanding of everything that happens behind the scenes to keep a dealership running successfully and would be a great learning experience.”
That curiosity reflects Miguel’s approach to his work. He is always looking for ways to build his knowledge, better understand the full dealership experience, and bring more value to the guests and teammates he supports.
Beyond the Dealership
Baseball has always been an important part of Miguel’s life and Dominican culture. He enjoys following the New York Yankees, Miami Heat, and UGA. He is especially proud to see Dominican athletes succeed on the biggest stages, whether in Major League Baseball or the NBA.
When he is not at the dealership or watching sports, Miguel enjoys exploring the Atlanta-area restaurant scene. One standout Atlanta dining experience for him has been ATLAS. Closer to home in Newnan, he recommends GARLIC, Lilah Grey, and Curious Kitchen, and he is always excited to discover another local favorite.
Miguel also enjoys getting behind the wheel of his 2025 Lexus ES 350 F SPORT, which delivers the comfort, performance, and style he appreciates in a daily driver. His dream vehicle is a Porsche 911 Targa, fully equipped and ready for the road ahead.
What Matters Most
If Miguel could travel anywhere tomorrow, his choice would be easy: Punta Cana.
He would spend the day at the beach, share a great meal, and enjoy quality time with his 9-year-old daughter. It is a reminder that, for Miguel, the most meaningful moments are centered on family, connection, and making the most of time with the people he loves.
